NEW - Daylight Savings Time Update 2007UPDATED - IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE ENERGY POLICY ACT OF 2005. After quite a bit of testing, working with vendors and working with our software providers POS Solutions has come to a resolution on how to address the problem of the daylight savings time issue. We realize this is a late correction however the tools that are now available to correct the DST issue completely and are the easiest for everyone to implement. There will be 2 approaches to the correction of this issue. For our Aloha POS customers we have a new utility that can be run on the Back Office Manager workstation one time and all terminals on the entire network will be updated. This fix should address this issue on all versions of the Aloha software. For our Catapult POS customers we will need to update each terminal and Back Office station seperately with available Microsoft utilities. Since we have such a time crunch we are going to provide sites with the alternative of completing this patch themselves and will provide the same documentation to these customers that our techs have access to. More information to come on this subject. We are hoping to have all this information to you by the end of the day 02/26/2007.
