Company to provide Radiant Exhibitor Suite along with Radiant hardware terminals to all 11 UltraStar theaters

ATLANTA (September 17, 2008) – Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) announced today that UltraStar Cinemas has named Radiant Systems as their exclusive provider of point of sale (POS) hardware and software for all of their theater locations.

Radiant Systems will deploy software to fully manage UltraStar’s theater locations as well as provide control, reporting and business intelligence tools to their headquarters. Combined, the solution will allow UltraStar Cinemas to centrally manage all of their pricing, inventory and sales activities as well as enabling UltraStar to track and manage critical aspects of film management, such as ticket pricing, film booking and payment of film rental fees to distributors.

UltraStar Cinemas will also utilize Radiant’s box office and concessions software to run on Radiant’s P1520 hardware terminals. Additionally, UItraStar will deploy Radiant’s in-theater point of sale and site management systems to enable inventory management, central price management and more than 100 integrated reporting choices.

Radiant Systems began updating the POS technology at UltraStar Cinemas’ locations in May and expects to complete installation in all 11 locations late September.
